Vision and Message from the Founding Rector

Prof.h.c. Dipl.-Kfm. Dipl.-Vw. Dr. Karl Braunschweig
(1916-2009)
Founding Rector of Hayek International Business School
(Honorary professor of the Baltic University of Finance)

Karl Braunschweig
Prof.h.c. Dipl.-Kfm. Dipl.-Vw. Dr.
(1916-2009), Germany:

"Our study programs concentrate on the essentials of main economic terms, definitions, rules, indexes, methods and tools which are of crucial importance for corporate management. Predominance of theory is specifically avoided. Despite the relatively short duration of studies, the graduate gains an acknowledged wellfounded commercial know how.
Unlike the traditional university program which contains a lot of pur theory, our compact study program deliberately focuses on the methods and tools which you can find in the real corporate world.
I see HIBS as a leading economic educational institution that is open to everyone.
HIBS should offer an important input for our future society. In order to achieve such a goal, our international Business School has to produce graduates with both intelligence and integrity.
This is my view and vision of Hayek International Business School."

Today, the Executive Dean of the HIBS is Prof. Dr. Rodion Giniyatullin. He is also a well-known economist in Russia and Europe. In addition to it he is member of the Mises Insitute of Austrian Economics, Freedom and Peace.
